About KCI EMT Training
Our Company, KCI EMT Training, the Emergency Medical Technician training division of Kane Consulting Inc, is dedicated to providing our students with the best possible training in every course we offer.
Founded in 2016, our company promises to pass on our high level of professionalism to our students to ensure that they become highly trained individuals in our community. We offer Emergency Medical Technician training at the Basic and Advanced levels, which gives our students the ability to become licensed providers in Utah and also become National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certified.
In addition to our own training curriculum, we proudly offer several American Heart Association (AHA) and National Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT) classes. All of our courses can be tailored to be a part of any existing Continuing Education Program.
Welcome from the program director
On Behalf of the faculty and staff, welcome to KCI EMT Training EMS Program. The EMS Program is one of the state’s premier EMS education and training centers offering EMT, and advanced medical training in Bountiful, Utah. The EMS Program faculty comprises highly qualified professionals dedicated to advancing EMS through a commitment to quality education, and exceptional patient care.
I congratulate you for choosing EMS as a profession. EMS provides you with the opportunity to serve those most in need of assistance, while having the satisfaction of being a part of one of the most dynamic and exciting fields available. Helping people with empathy, and a high level of expertise will be your calling card. Many will call you a hero not because you can catch a ball or act in a movie, rather it will be because you saved the life of a mother, father or child. You will, quite literally, be the face of hope for the hopeless, peace for the tormented, and comfort for the terrified. I challenge you in your training and beyond, to act with integrity, empathy and compassion in this vital role of the EMS professional.
The purpose of this handbook is to provide valuable information and policies covering all EMS Courses at KCI EMT training and to assist you in preparing for the state required National Registry cognitive and psychomotor examinations. We look forward to working with you throughout the program. KCI EMT Training reserves the right to make changes to any of the policies, procedures, codes, standards, requirements or services included in this handbook as it deems necessary, with the changes applicable to all students in attendance at KCI EMT Training.
