This EMT course is required to apply for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, and provides students with insights into the theory and application of concepts related to the profession of emergency medical services. Candidates will need to be competent in their skills and knowledge and will we evaluated throughout the program

As we spend time in discussions, class lectures and implementing those tools through practice, the students will become knowledgeable, confident and competent. These techniques will help the student prepare for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and State of Utah Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (BEMS) exams.
